The FXR Torque X Core helmet with the electric shield is truly a dual purpose helmet with incredible style. It keeps you warm and keeps your visor clear on those cold and icy days, while on warm spring days, you have the option to wear your goggles instead, and remove the shield completely from the helmet. What an amazing option! The breath box comes standard with these helmets, and it is used to deflect your breath down, and away from your goggles and shield to prevent fogging.

When ordering this helmet, you have standard sizing options, and a vast selection of colours. NOTE: most riders have experienced that the helmet does fit a little smaller than usual, so getting the next size up from your regular size is a wise decision (If you're a Large, buy the Extra Large). The colour options are as follows: Lime, Orange, Red, Fuchsia, High Visibility Yellow, Charcoal, and White.

The helmet is very lightweight and fits nice and snug. The colour options are great as they match pretty much all available FXR colours, so you know if you buy a lime green FXR coat, you can definitely get a lime green helmet. So what about the heated visor that comes standard on the Torque X Core helmets, does it actually work well? there's two things I can say about the heated visor: number 1 it definitely keeps the ice and fog off your visor so you can see however, it has a lot of features on it that actually blocks some of your field of vision when you're riding which is very inconvenient. It's a helmet that you need to move your head around, not just your eyes, when looking around. When the visor is down you can rarely see the dash, and your side vision is somewhat limited. Overall, the looks and comfort level of this helmet is Awesome, and best of all it looks great. Should you buy it? Well you know I'm going to say yes, there's nothing more comfortable than a motor cross style helmet in my opinion, they fit nice, they're light, and once again they always look awesome!
