So everyone is familiar with the renown HERO action camera by GoPro, but what about other action cameras out there? Here's one you most likely haven't heard of, the CGX2 by Cyclops Gear. Why haven't you heard of it? Well, have you recently purchased any BRP recreational products lately: Can-Am, Sea Doo, or Ski Doo? If not, well that probably why you've never heard of them. The CGX2 action camera is exclusive to BRP dealers only, and even better, they currently have a promotion on that when you spend over a US$1,000 (CA$1,200) in accessories, you will receive a free CGX2 action camera, valued at US$299.99 (CA$349.99). Of course you can visit a local dealer and pick one up as well, without spending over $1,000 on other accessories first. So can this camera compete against the well-known GoPro HERO series action cameras? This isn't a review to necessarily compare the two models, rather to bring the CGX2 action camera to light, and to let people know that theres other options out there that may be a little more affordable, that will give you similar features.
